A Greenwich man died last week after being involved in a motorcycle accident.
The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office and the Galion Fire Department responded to a single vehicle motorcycle crash at 4:15 p.m. on July 23. Twenty-six-year-old Robert M. Laforest had been traveling northbound on Nazor Road, south of Ohio 309, on a 2002 Honda motorcycle when he failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway. Laforest went off the east side of the road, struck a ride with his motorcycle and ejected from the bike.
Galion Fire transported Laforest to the Galion Community Hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.
Fairprice Towing was called to the scene. The Sheriff’s Office continues to investigation the crash. No other details are available at this time.
