GALION, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)— Grace Point is gearing up for a special year in 2024. Building on the success of the past two years, the Church is once again rallying support for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital through its annual community hog roast.

Living by the motto, “See a need…meet a need,” Grace Point is extending an invitation to more people to join in meeting the needs of others. The organization is offering several ways for individuals to partner in this mission, including monetary donations, donating supplies for the hog roast, or contributing items for the silent auction.

In 2023, the community came together to raise $11,250 at the event. Thanks to a 100% matching funds incentive, a total donation of $22,500 was sent to St. Jude. This year, with increased participation and support, Grace Point hopes to surpass last year’s achievement.

The community is invited to join the Hog Roast on August 3, 2024, from Noon to 5pm. Attendees can look forward to good food, great company, and the musical stylings of the Bullit Band with their “Rock’n Memories” set. The silent auction offers an additional opportunity to support St. Jude while winning an exciting prize or adventure.

Grace Point’s dream is that, through prayer and action, all families worldwide can share the joy of life together without the burden of cancer. The organization extends its heartfelt thanks for your prayerful consideration to partner in this venture.
