The historic Gill House is hosting one of the newest additions to the “Come Home to Galion” Christmas celebration this Saturday. The Gill House on Harding Way West will have “Gilding at the Gills” on Saturday afternoon from 1 to 4.
The event will provide children ages 2 through 12 the opportunity to engage in creative fun and help decorate the Gill House for the Christmas holidays. The youngsters will create Christmas ornaments for the Gill House Christmas trees. Children who participate will also be able to create their own souvenir ornament to take home with them.
The vent will precede the annual Christmas parade for the Come Home to Galion celebration and the Gill House is right on the parade route.
There is no charge to attend. Donations will be accepted but are not required. The Gill House is located at 342 Harding Way West in Galion.
