It’s that time of year again, and the Buckeyes’ tradition continues. The Ohio State vs. Michigan game will soon be upon us and United Way of Crawford County will be sponsoring a fundraiser around this year’s football game on Saturday, November 30, 2013 beginning at 8:00 AM.
This year’s event will be hosted at Galion Community Hospital thanks to Avita Health System:
- Parking spaces may be purchased, for tailgate sites, in the hospital’s lower parking lot for $50.00 each, or gain preferred parking and additional meal tickets with your purchase of CLUB level sponsorship parking (call for pricing).
- Bring your own snacks and beverages, but don’t forget that breakfast (8:00 AM to 10:00 AM) and lunch (12:00 PM to 2:00 PM) will be available with the purchase of your parking space (*Limit 2 meals per $50). Meals provided by Avita Café.
- Electrical hook-ups will be available for your portable TVs or heaters; you may want to bring an outdoor extension cord with you.
- Inside a large tent, we will have two big screen TV’s for viewing the game. Remember to bring along your lawn chairs.
- The Forty Buzzards Wine Club will be there with samples.
- Davy Jones from WQEL will also be on site for the festivities.
In addition, we will be holding a live auction and 50/50 drawing. Various items will be available to purchase for a great cause.
When you give to United Way you are helping to fund 30 different programs, though 19 different agencies. United Way is the best way to help the most people and build a stronger future in Crawford County. Thank you for your generous support.
