That road trip or summer vacation you’ve been planning may cost a bit more than you originally budgeted thanks to a recent spike in gas prices.

The lowest price for regular in Bucyrus this morning was $2.63 per gallon while in Galion and Crestline it was $2.46 according to www.gasbuddy.com.

According to AAA pump prices across the state are on the rise as a result of several factors – refinery issues, pipeline delivery disruptions and higher crude oil prices.

The average price statewide as of Monday was about $2.68 per gallon. Last year for the month of June it was $2.77. However, in February and March of just this year the average price of gas dropped well below the $2 mark.
