It looks like Monday may have been the day to fill up your tank. While auto club AAA and the Oil Price Information Service reports gas prices were down to start the week they are back up and then some today.
On Monday the average price of regular grade gas in Ohio was $3.51 per gallon – a drop of 14 cents from a week ago. Motorists could have filled their tanks in Bucyrus Monday morning for $3.33. But today that price is up to $3.69 – just three cents lower than the state average one year ago.
Analysts say ongoing seasonal maintenance at refineries and concerns over simmering tensions in the Ukraine have been keeping prices up.
