The coming of Fourth of July festivities also means a change in garbage day collections.
Garbage pick-up that would typically occur on Friday for Bucyrus residents will instead be picked up on Monday, July 7 as the city observes Independence Day. The City asks that you place your garbage out at the curb early on Monday, July 7 as they will be running double routes that day.
All other non-emergency city offices will be closed on Friday, July 4 as well to observe the holiday with our families. If you should have any questions please contact the Service/Safety Director at 419-562-6767 ext. 221.
Those using Rumpke waste removal services will not have their garbage picked up on July 4. Friday’s collection will instead move to Saturday with regular collection resuming on Monday.
Please contact Rumpke’s customer service with additional questions at toll free 1-800-828-8171 or visit www.rumpke.com.
