BUCYRUS—The 2021 season of High School Football Final ended with its annual banquet on November 18th at Baker’s Pizza.

The High School Football Final has been recognizing and supporting area athletes since 2015. Each week coaches from eleven different schools, located in Crawford, Wyandot, Seneca, and Hardin counties, nominate one player from their team to be considered for a Helmet Sticker Award. A panel of judges select six players each week to receive this award and one of those players is chosen to be “Player of the Week.” Each winner receives a helmet sticker, t-shirt, and gift card, and the “Player of the Week” receives an additional award and is in the running for “Player of the Year.”

All helmet sticker winners, coaches, and guest judges are invited to the year-end banquet, which is sponsored by The Accounting Offices of Mizick Miller, Plymale Insurance Group, First Federal Community Bank, Kimmel Corporation, and WBCO/WQEL Radio/Crawford Country Now.

This year, after a record-breaking season, Lincoln Mollenkopf of Colonel Crawford was the unanimous choice for “Player of the Year.”

The sponsors are thankful for the support they receive each year and are looking forward to 2022!
