BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—Connie Stoner, 53, from Galion, appeared in Crawford County Common Pleas Court on Monday and accepted a plea deal for her involvement in a drive-by shooting at a home in Galion.
Dakota Craft, Stoner’s son, is currently serving a 24-year prison sentence for his role in the shooting.
As part of the plea negotiation, Stoner pleaded guilty to one count of tampering with evidence, a third-degree felony that carries a maximum sentence of 36 months in prison. Judge Sean Leuthold accepted the plea negotiation and sentenced Stoner to 36 months in prison. After serving six months, she will be eligible for judicial release.
Stoner is currently out on bond and has been given a report date of January 5, 2024, when she will be transported to prison.
