GALION―A Galion woman was issued a citation when officers investigated a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 700 block of Carter Drive.
At 11:13 p.m. Friday, Galion Police officers responded to a report of someone sleeping in a vehicle with the car running in the parking lot at Discount Drug Mart.
Valerie A. Larson, 39, Galion, was issued a citation for physical control and her vehicle was towed from the scene by Fairprice Towing.

7:58 p.m.-Officers investigated a report of a small fire in the hose between a grill and the propane tank in the 200 block of Clymer Avenue.
10:03 p.m.-A welfare check was conducted in the 200 block of Dawsett Avenue.
11:34 p.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the 100 block of North Jefferson Street.

11:55 a.m.-Carmella J. Allen, 58, Galion, was arrested for the Crawford County Probation Office in the 700 block of Fairview Avenue and turned over to the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office.
1:45 p.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the 200 block of Grove Avenue.
1:57 p.m.-A welfare check was conducted in the 800 block of Charles Street.
3:08 p.m.-A report of a missing juvenile was taken in the 1400 block of Baehr Street.
4:32 p.m.-A South Street resident reported their mailbox vandalized.
5:20 p.m.-A missing juvenile was located and brought to the police department.

2:09 p.m.-A South Market Street resident reported being harassed by someone they know. The person was issued a warning to stop the harassment.
6 p.m.-An employee of Burger King reported receiving two counterfeit $20 bills.
9:16 p.m.-A report of people playing basketball with loud music playing was investigated at South Park. No one was located.
9:57 p.m.-A report of a gathering of a large group in the 300 block of Dawsett Avenue was unfounded.

4:31 p.m.-A First Avenue resident reported being threatened by someone they know.
5:29 p.m.-A report of an assault was taken at Galion Community Hospital.

5:54 p.m.-Craig S. Henry was issued a citation for driving under suspension in the 600 block of Portland Way North.
6:16 p.m.-A report of kids gathering against the health order to play basketball was investigated at East Park. The juveniles dispersed.
6:29 p.m.-A safety deposit box that was found near Brownella Cottage was turned over to police.
6:38 p.m.-A report of a vicious dog that bit someone in the 300 block of First Avenue was investigated. A citation for dog running at large was issued and Amanda J. Shultz was issued a citation failure to reinstate driver’s license.
8:29 p.m.-A report of an impaired driver in the 100 block of East Street was investigated. The man was released to a friend.
