The Galion Police Department arrested a local woman Wednesday on drug charges. Amber L. Ramsey had been charged with illegal manufacturing of drugs and illegal possession or assembly of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs. She is being held for court.

In an unrelated case, the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office arrested Donald Fetters of Bucyrus Wednesday for driving under suspension. He was remanded directly from court to serve an 180 day sentence.

The Sheriff’s Office recovered a stolen vehicle Monday during a car stop at the intersection of State Route 98 and Mt. Zion Rd. The car had been reported stolen earlier from the city of Galion.

Capt. Scott Baldosser clocked the vehicle travelling in excess of 55 MPH on SR 98 south of Bucyrus and discovered the stolen 2010 Chevrolet HHR. When the vehicle was stopped, the juvenile occupant was found to have been reported as a runaway from the Foundations for Living Center, located in Mansfield, Ohio. The juvenile was taken into custody, and held at the Marion Detention Facility, pending court appearance.

No damage to the stolen vehicle, and it was returned to the owner.
