GALION, OH (CRAWFOD COUNTY NOW)—On Friday, detectives from the Galion Police Department and METRICH executed a search warrant at a residence located at 930 Harding Way East in Galion. The operation was part of an ongoing investigation into the alleged sale of prescription drugs from the residence.

Shelby Compston, a resident of Galion and the primary subject of the investigation, was arrested at the scene. In addition, Cheyenne Lenhart was taken into custody on an unrelated warrant issued by Richland County.

During the operation, officers collected suspected drugs and paraphernalia. The evidence will be forwarded to the Crawford County Prosecutor’s Office, which will consider additional charges.

In a statement, Galion Police Chief Ryan Strange encouraged citizens to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity.
