GALION, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The Galion Community Theatre will open its doors for a free event on Saturday, Sept. 20, that celebrates the connection between art and recovery. The event will showcase collaborative works created by local artists and individuals on their unique recovery journeys.

The program, which runs from 5 to 8 p.m., aims to reduce stigma, encourage conversations about recovery and highlight support networks available in Crawford County. Attendees will be able to view the art, hear from the participants about their stories, and engage with the artists.

“We believe that every recovery story is powerful and deserves to be told,” said Christi Eckert, coordinator for the Crawford County Prevention Coalition. “This event is a chance to uplift voices, showcase local artistic talent, and build bridges of compassion within our community.”

The event is open to the public and will include light refreshments and opportunities to connect with artists and participants. The Galion Community Theatre is located at 127 Harding Way W. For more information, follow the Crawford County Prevention Coalition on Facebook or call 740-914-6444.
