GALION—Galion City Safety Service Director Nicole Ward received a three-page status letter from the Ohio Environmental Association regarding the status of pending violations regarding the water and sewage systems in Galion.

Mayor Tom O’Leary, with Ward sitting in on the call, spoke with Crawford County Now prior to the publication of the report.

O’Leary pointed out that there are no new violations in the report and that it is merely an update on the city’s progress toward compliance. He also noted that the assessment management plans still need some work.

Crawford County Now has provided a link to the letter below. Crawford County Now will continue to follow this developing story.
