The Galion City School District’s Board of Education held a meeting Monday in special session to accommodate three new staff members, but also lost another.
School district Treasuer Terri Day’s resignation was approved by the board. Day’s resignation is effective July 18. Day is taking the same position with the Big Walnut Local School District in Delaware County.
The board did approve three new hires.
Suzanne Woodmansee will serve as the intervention specialist at Galion Intermediate School. Amy Cline will be the guidance counselor at the high school and Matt Stafford will teach physical education for both middle school and high school students.
