GALION, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)–Galion residents have the chance to engage directly with local candidates at a public “Meet the Candidates Night” on Monday, Aug. 11, at Pubhouse 123.
The free event aims to promote voter engagement and provide the community with an opportunity to learn more about those seeking local office. All candidates on the ballot for local office have been invited to participate.
“Community members are invited to attend, hear from the candidates, and ask questions during the Q&A portion of the event,” said Amanda Moran, co-owner of Pubhouse 123.
The schedule for the evening includes a community networking session from 5 to 6 p.m., followed by candidate presentations from 6 to 7:45 p.m. An audience Q&A session will close out the event from 8 to 9 p.m.
Light refreshments will be provided, and seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
