The CSX railroad crossing on Portland Way South (SR 309) on the south edge of Galion is temporarily closed due to an issue with the train.
Galion police are attempting to set up a temporary detour but have not been given a time frame of the closure. The crossings to the east are open and authorities are aware that the crossing at Biddle Road is closed.
Please use an alternate route while this problem is being addressed.
