GALION, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The FRIENDS of the Galion Public Library are set to host a unique book donation event, “BRING on the BOOKS!” on Saturday, August 3, from 10 a.m. to noon. This event will take place in the alley behind the Library, located at 123 North Market Street.

The innovative drive-up operation allows donors to remain in their vehicles while volunteers unload the books. This convenient setup is designed to encourage more community members to participate and donate their used books, CDs, puzzles, and games.

“Now is the opportunity to clean out those shelves of unwanted books. Donating them to our upcoming book sale is a great way to pass on that knowledge effortlessly and help the FRIENDS support the library,” said Denise Iden-Koffel, FRIENDS President.

The donated items will be offered at the semi-annual book sales during the next year. This initiative not only promotes recycling and knowledge sharing but also supports the library’s operations.
