The Galion Primary, Intermediate and Middle Schools will host Back-to-School open house events prior to the start of the new year. These events will give parents and students the opportunity to meet teachers, get acclimated with the buildings and prepare for the new school year that begins August 24.

Open House dates and times for each building are as follows:

Galion Primary School – Monday, August 22

  • All Grades: 4:00-6:00 p.m.

Galion Intermediate School – Monday, August 22

  • Third Grade: 4:00-4:45 p.m.
  • Fourth Grade: 4:45-5:30 p.m.
  • Fifth Grade: 5:30-6:00 p.m.
  • These time schedules are set to help the office with student enrollment. If a family has more than one child in the Galion City School District, they’re encouraged to visit their child’s class at their convenience.

Galion Middle School

  • Seventh and Eighth Grade: Thursday, August 18, 6:00-7:30 p.m.
  • Sixth Grade: Monday, August 22, 6:00-7:30 p.m.
