9:51 a.m.-A non-injury accident was investigated in the 100 block of Harding Way East.

1:16 p.m.-A report of a student in possession of cigarettes and a lighter at Galion Middle School was investigated.

1:46 p.m.-Kelly Donathan was issued a citation for speeding on Dawsett Avenue.

1:53 p.m.-A welfare check was conducted in the 400 block of North Columbus Street.

3:27 a.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the 300 block of Cherry Street.

8:50 a.m.-Officers assisted a confused elderly person in the West Church area and returned him to his home.

9:38 a.m.-A disturbance was investigated in the 200 block of South Street and two people warned for trespassing.

10:16 a.m.-Anthony A. Spires, 32, Galion, was arrested on a warrant in the Dawsett Avenue area.

2:38 p.m.-Multiple reports of a reckless driver in the 400 block of Grand Street were investigated.

4:41 p.m.-A Kelly Street resident reported the theft of a cell phone by someone they know.

10:48 p.m.-A report of vicious dog was investigated in the 600 block of Hollywood Drive. Officers corralled the dog back into its residence and contacted dog warden regarding the dog’s condition.

11:03 a.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the 500 block of Richardson Avenue.

12:24 p.m.-Reports of aggravated menacing and possession of tobacco products were investigated at Galion Middle School.

1:13 p.m.-A Galion resident reported being stalked by someone they know.

1:45 p.m.-Sara M. Morasco was issued a citation for expired tags on South Union Street.

6:20 p.m.-Zachary E. Craft was issued a citation for fictitious tags in the South Boston Street area.

6:49 p.m.-A report of smoke coming from behind a residence in the 200 block of Gill Avenue. A man was warned against burning leaves.

8:54 p.m.-A Harding Way East resident reported their cell phone stolen.

11:09 p.m.-Portia D. Stinehelfer was arrested for operating a vehicle under the influence and endangering children in the South Street area. She was also issued a citation for a stop sign violation.

5:19 a.m.-Chad D. Montgomery was issued a citation for speeding on Portland Way North.

11:30 a.m.-Kelly A. Johnson was arrested for violation of a protection order out of Marion County in the 100 block of Sherman Street. He was also arrested for obstruction of official business.

2:48 p.m.-A report of kids fighting while wearing boxing gloves at Heise Park was investigated. They were told to move to another location.

4:47 p.m.-A report of kids playing on equipment inside a fence at Heise Park was investigated. City officials advised the kids can play in the fenced area but not on the equipment.

4:55 p.m.-A person reported being threatened by someone they know while in the 300 block of Harding Way West.

7:35 p.m.-Donovan E. Caskey was issued a citation for fictitious tags and driving under suspension in the 700 block of Portland Way South.
