7:45 a.m.-Amy L. Traxler was issued a citation for speeding on South Street.

7:45 a.m.-Jennifer S. Evans was issued a citation for speeding on South Street.

11:27 a.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the 700 block of Fairview Avenue.

12:22 p.m.-A Portland Way North resident reported receiving a scam call from someone claiming to be from the IRS.

12:53 p.m.-A Grant Street resident reported being the victim of a scam.

3:29 p.m.-A report of a fight at Heise Park was investigated. The juveniles were just playing.

5:09 p.m.-A Third Avenue resident reported that a man was going through his neighbor’s shed.

6:54 p.m.-A report of a runaway juvenile in the 600 block of Willowcrest Lane was investigated.

7:30 p.m.-Officers investigated a four-vehicle accident near the gazebo on Public Square. One citation was issued and no injuries were reported.

8:26 p.m.-A report of a fight at Heise Park was kids play-fighting.

6:31 am.-Heather Blankenship was issued a citation for speeding on North Market Street.

7:39 a.m.-Mindy Davenport, 26, Galion, was arrested in the 200 block of Portland Way South during a traffic stop.

9:37 a.m.-A search warrant was served at a residence in the 900 block of Harding Way East and one person was arrested.

3:52 p.m.-The theft of water utilities was investigated in the 300 block of North Market Street.

6:19 p.m.-A report of a small child outside alone in a diaper was investigated in the 400 block of Libby Lane. The mother was warned about child endangerment charges.

6:54 p.m.-A wallet that was found at McDonald’s was turned over to officers.

7:11 p.m.-A report of a missing 9-year-old was investigated at Heise Park and the juvenile was located.

7:17 p.m.-A report of a fight in the 400 block of Hensley Avenue was investigated.

9:07 p.m.-John J. Beach, 43, Mansfield, and Kenneth C. Foti, 43, Galion, were each issued a summons for possession of marijuana in the 100 block of Harding Way East.

2:10 p.m.-A non-injury was investigated on North Columbus Street and a citation was issued to William Bengel.

3:45 a.m.-A report of an unruly juvenile was investigated in the 100 block of West Atwood Street.

5:13 p.m.-A report of six juveniles smoking on top of the pavilion at South Park was investigated.

7:32 p.m.-Cierra Anderson was issued a citation for driving under suspension on South Pierce Street.

12:45 a.m.-A North Market Street resident reported someone knocked loudly on the door of their residence. Officers checked the area but did not locate anyone.

12:02 p.m.-A report of an unwanted person at a residence in the 700 block of Clay Street was investigated. David S. Brocklesby, 53, Galion, was arrested for criminal trespass.

1:18 p.m.-A report of the violation of a civil protection order was investigated in the 300 block of Eighth Avenue.

6:25 p.m.-Officers assisted EMS with a small child that was injured from a fall in the 400 block of Libby Lane.

9:32 p.m.-A welfare check was conducted in the 100 block of Easton way.

11:36 p.m.-A report of a fight in the 500 block of Galion Arms was investigated.

9:34 a.m.-Officers assisted the coroner with a deceased male in the 100 block of South Market Street.

2 p.m.-Kimberly A. Hickman was issued a citation for fictitious tags. Her plates were seized the vehicle towed from the scene in the 1100 block of Harding Way East.

3:28 p.m.-A welfare check was conducted in the 600 block of Crew Avenue. The person is staying out of town.
