6:15 a.m.-Lucas J. Shepherd was issued a citation for speeding on Harding Way East.

8:11 a.m.-Officers assisted with a report of a deceased person in the 200 block of Third Avenue. The Crawford County Coroner was contacted.

9:04 a.m.-A report of branches across the railroad tracks in the North East Street area.

10:59 a.m.-A report of a young child running down the alley in the 300 block of East Parson Street was investigated.

12:35 p.m.-A hit-skip accident was investigated in the South Boston Street area.

1:37 p.m.-A non-injury accident was investigated in the 200 block of Harding Way West.

4:04 p.m.-A non-injury accident was investigated on Hosford Road. Beverly Pfeifer was issued a citation for failure to yield. Hensley Towing assisted at the scene.

5:58 p.m.-An employee of First Federal Bank reported receiving threatening phone calls. The incident is under investigation.

6:32 p.m.-A report of juveniles playing with the gates at Anytime Storage was investigated.

6:52 p.m.-A report of a suspicious vehicle in the was investigated in the 1200 block of Oliver Street.

6:59 p.m.-A verbal dispute was investigated in the 400 block of Fifth Avenue. The people involved were issued warnings for disorderly conduct.

7:48 p.m.-A report of stop signs turned in the wrong direction in the South Market Street area was investigated.

7:54 p.m.-A report of juveniles jumping on top of the restrooms at Heise Park was investigated. Two vape pens were confiscated from the juveniles and they were issued warnings for trespassing.

10:47 p.m.-A report of barking dogs in the 600 block of Hollywood Drive was investigated.

11:13 p.m.-A report of suspicious people in the 500 block of Gill Avenue was investigated. They were issued warnings for trespassing.

11:54 p.m.-A report of an intoxicated man with two little boys at Heise Park was investigated. Curtis M. Hale, 40, Galion, was arrested for disorderly conduct and taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held until sober.

11:59 a.m.-A report of a suspicious man behind Circle K was investigated.

12:22 p.m.-A report of a domestic dispute was investigated in the 200 block of North Market Street.

1:23 p.m.-A report of a person on a motorcycle speeding in 700 block of Boyd Boulevard was investigated.

2:29 p.m.-William L. McDowell, 58, Galion, was arrested in the 100 block of East Street for disorderly conduct.

2:49 p.m.-A report of a juvenile on a motorcycle speeding in the Grove Avenue and Boyd Boulevard area was investigated. Officers spoke with the boy’s mother.

5:09 p.m.-Officers closed the 200 block of Orange Street until a tree that had fallen into the roadway could be removed.

5:54 p.m.-Lavonne R. Casteel was arrested for obstructing official business in the 800 block of Portland Way North. She was also issued a citation for driving under suspension.

6:35 p.m.-Joshua H. Thomson, 34, Galion, was arrested for obstructing official business and menacing by stalking in the 400 block of Libby Lane.

7:43 p.m.-Pills found in the parking lot of Dollar General were turned over to officers.

9:28 p.m.-A hit-skip accident was investigated in the 600 block of Harding Way East.

9:49 p.m.-Officers assisted the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office with an injury accident on Biddle Road.

10:19 p.m.-A report of a juvenile on a roof playing with fire was investigated in the 7700 block of Ohio 309.

11:09 p.m.-A syringe that was found in the 6600 block of Brandt Road was picked up by officers.

11:51 p.m.-A report of a suspicious person in the 100 block of Harding Way East was investigated.

11:53 p.m.-A report of the odor of marijuana coming from a vehicle in the 700 block of Harding Way East was investigated.

7:45 a.m.-A report of a tree that had fallen on a vehicle and took down a power line was made in the 200 block of North Columbus Street.

7:45 a.m.-A report of a tree down on a power line was made in the 200 block of Gill Avenue.

7:58 a.m.-A report of a power line down in the 400 block of West Church Street was made.

12:09 p.m.-A report of a power line down in the 100 block of North Riblet Street was made.

1:19 p.m.-A report of loud music in the 200 block of Sherman Street was investigated.

1:21 p.m.-A report of an unruly juvenile in the 800 block of Harding Way East was investigated.

4:20 p.m.-A well-being check on children was attempted in the 200 block of South Street.

4:23 p.m.-Joseph Vanderkooi was arrested on a Crawford County warrant in the 200 block of East Payne Avenue.

4:45 p.m.-A welfare check on a person in the 100 block of West Walnut Street was attempted.

9:15 p.m.-A disturbance in the Harding Way West area was investigated.

9:25 p.m.-A report of a suspicious vehicle at Cobey Park was investigated. The person was playing Pokemon.

9:40 p.m.-A report of a fight between juveniles was investigated in the 400 block of Gill Avenue.

9:47 p.m.-A report of a drunk driver in the 200 block of Harding Way West was investigated.

10:04 p.m.-A report of loud music was investigated in the 500 block of Galion Arms Court.

12:59 a.m.-A report of a suspicious vehicle was investigated on North Liberty Street. A juvenile was returned to their home.

1:04 a.m.-A report of a suspicious vehicle was investigated at Amann’s Reservoir. The people were fishing.

3:04 a.m.-A Sherman Street resident reported that someone was knocking on their door. Officers did not locate anyone in the area.

3:56 a.m.-A parking complaint was investigated and a citation issued in the 200 block of East Summit Street.

4:57 a.m.-A report of a suspicious man at Rite Aid was an employee of a company that was power-washing the windows of the store.

5:09 a.m.-Joshua G. Kempf was issued a citation for speeding on Harding Way West.

8:40 a.m.-Officers assisted a blind man in the North Columbus Street area.

8:42 a.m.-A Pershing Avenue resident reported their mailbox hit by a vehicle. The driver of the vehicle was still at the scene.

11:47 a.m.-A report of a group of kids playing inappropriate, loud rap music at Heise Park was investigated. Officers determined the music was not problematic or disruptive then played basketball with the group of kids for about 30 minutes.

1:17 p.m.-A South Pierce Street resident reported their dogs had been poisoned. A report of animal cruelty was filed.

3:29 p.m.-A Harding Way East resident reported being threatened by someone they know.

3:55 p.m.-A resident in the 500 block of East Atwood Street reported a neighbor putting trash in their yard.

5:29 p.m.-A report of people swimming in Amann’s Reservoir was investigated. The people were warned for trespassing if they continued.

6:12 p.m.-A report of open burning in the 900 block of South Market Street was investigated. The Galion Fire Department extinguished the fire and the person was warned against burning trash.

7 p.m.-A citation was issued for expired plates to David R. Hedrick in the 600 block of Harding Way East.

7:10 p.m.-A non-injury accident in an alleyway in the 100 block of Sherman Street was investigated. One person was cited for failure to control.

7:34 p.m.-A motorist was cited for driving with expired tags in the South Liberty Street area.

9:01 a.m.-A welfare check was conducted in the 500 block of East Church Street.

10:19 a.m.-A non-injury accident was investigated in the 200 block of Harding Way East.

11:40 a.m.-A non-injury accident was investigated in the 300 block of Harding Way East when city street department employees struck a fire hydrant in front of the police department.

4:03 p.m.-A report of juveniles fighting in the 500 block of South Boston Street.

5:01 p.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the 300 block of North Market Street.

5:14 p.m.-A report of a fight was investigated in the Erie Street area. Richard M. Beachy was arrested for assault, aggravated trespass, driving under suspension and a warrant for failure to appear. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court.

6:34 p.m.-A report that a motorist threw a glass beer bottle at a vehicle in the Ohio 309 area was investigated.

8:34 p.m.-A report of an unruly juvenile was investigated in the 900 block of Harding Way East.

9:24 p.m.-Officers assisted EMS personnel in the 400 block of Portland Way North.

10:02 p.m.-A parking complaint was investigated in the 200 block of South Columbus Street.
