1:04 a.m.-A report of a suspicious person in the 300 block of North Market Street was investigated.

4:45 a.m.-A report of a street light knocked over in the 700 block of Harding Way West was investigated and the city’s line department was called to the scene to make repairs.

9:31 a.m.-A report of someone mowing grass into the street in the 300 block of Grove Avenue was investigated. The person said they are using a leaf blower to remove the grass from the street after mowing.

10:20 a.m.-A gift card found at Moto Mart was turned over to officers.

12:58 p.m.-A Fifth Avenue resident reported their dog attacked by a neighbor’s dog. The Crawford County Dog Warden was called to the scene.

1:43 p.m.-An employee of Burger King reported receiving harassing phone calls at the business.

2:02 p.m.-A report of a person driving off without paying was reported at the Bell Store. The elderly man thought his credit card was charged for the gasoline and came back to the store to make payment.

3:07 p.m.-A report of a reckless driver was investigated in the Harding Way East area.

3:32 p.m.-A welfare check was conducted on a person in the 600 block of Crew Avenue. The person was taken to the hospital.

4:20 p.m.-A non-injury accident was investigated in the West Church Street area. Nancy Justice was issued a citation for failing to yield for a stop sign.

4:21 p.m.-A report of a juvenile throwing a rock at a truck and causing damage was investigated int eh 600 block of Willowcrest Lane.

6:07 p.m.-A report of juveniles using a racial slur against a passerby was investigated in the 1100 block of Cornel Avenue.

7:12 p.m.-A report of a heavy smell of gas in the 600 block of South Street was investigated. The Galion Fire Department and Columbia Gas were called to the scene and the building was evacuated.

7:46 p.m.-A report of a group of juveniles fighting at Heise Park was investigated. The group was split up and sent their separate ways.

11:07 p.m.-A report of two suspicious vehicles at Amann’s Reservoir was investigated. The juveniles were issued warnings for curfew violations.
