1:50 a.m.-Justin E. Tinch was issued a citation for driving with expired tags in the Gelsanliter Road area.

5:50 a.m.-A theft report was investigated at Moto Mart.

9:36 a.m.-Officers assisted EMS personnel in the 200 block of Grove Avenue.

11:45 a.m.-A resident came to the station to talk with officers about home security systems.

1:18 p.m.-A report of a breaking and entering of a residence in the 400 block of South Union Street was investigated.

1:25 p.m.-A resident came to the station to obtain information about filing a civil protection order.

3:12 p.m.-Zachary H. Strickland, 24, Galion, was arrested on a Morrow County warrant in the 300 block of East Parson Street. He was released to Morrow County authorities.

4:35 p.m.-A report of neighborhood kids tormenting dogs in the 200 block of South Columbus Street.

6:12 p.m.-A neighborhood dispute was investigated in the 200 block of South Columbus Street.

7:49 p.m.-A container of pills found in an aisle at a business in the 800 block of Harding Way East was turned over to police.

8:01 p.m.-Arthur Sorensen was arrested on a Crawford County warrant at the police department.

10:28 p.m.-A report of suspicious people yelling in the 500 block of McDonald Avenue was investigated.

10:55 p.m.-A report that someone tied a dog in front of a business then left it there was investigated in the 300 block of South Market Street. The Crawford County Dog Warden was called to pick up the dog.

11:16 p.m.-A report of a runway juvenile was investigated in the 900 block of Harding Way East.

11:32 p.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the 700 block of Maple Heights Drive. Andrew Callahan was issued a court date on a warrant out of the Crestline Police Department.

5:35 a.m.-Jordan U. Picon was issued a citation for speeding in the 100 block of Railroad Street.

6:45 a.m.-A report of a suspicious female in the 1400 block of Harding Way East was investigated.

11:30 a.m.-A report of an intoxicated man in the 500 block of North Union Street was investigated. The man was released to a sober friend.

12:50 p.m.-A hit-skip accident in the 200 block of Portland Way South was investigated.

1:22 p.m.-A cell phone found on the sidewalk near Moto Mart was turned over to officers.

1:22 p.m.-A set of keys found in the downtown area on Harding Way East were turned over to officers.

2:07 p.m.-A report of the theft of utilities in the 600 block of South Boston Street was investigated.

5:21 p.m.-A report of a diesel truck driver texting and driving was investigated in the Ohio 61 area. Officers were unable to locate the truck.

7:29 p.m.-Ernest A.R. Thompson was issued a citation for driving under suspension in the 800 block of South Street. He was also issued a warning for a turn signal violation.

8:06 p.m.-A report of a young child riding in the front seat of a vehicle was investigated in the Baehr Street area.

9:20 p.m.-A report of a woman sitting on the railroad tracks in the 100 block of West Railroad Street was investigated.

9:24 p.m.-A bicycle found in the 600 block of East Church Street was turned over to officers.

10 p.m.-A report of gunshots in the 1200 block of McClure Street was investigated and nothing found.

10:38 p.m.-Stephen B. McCollum II was issued a citation for failure to reinstate driver’s license in the 200 block of Portland Way South.

10:53 p.m.-A report of a missing or runaway juvenile in the 900 block of Harding Way East was investigated.

11:15 p.m.- A report of a missing or runaway juvenile in the 800 block of Harding Way East.

12:07 a.m.-Marijuana was seized after the search of a residence in the 100 block of South Market Street. Travis J. Castle was issued a summons for possession of marijuana.

12:31 a.m.-A theft report was taken in the Ohio 309 area.

12:46 a.m.-Valerie E. Dile, 34, Galion, was arrested on a Crawford County warrant in the 100 block of Portland Way North. She was issued a court date.

1 a.m.-A report of a suspicious vehicle behind Papa Johns was investigated. The person said they were dumpster diving.

1:10 a.m.-A report that a juvenile reported missing earlier in the evening had returned home in the 800 block of Harding Way East.

2:06 a.m.-Kenny Cesaire was issued a summons for possession of marijuana and falsification and Keiandre D. Turner was issued a citation for speeding and driving under suspension in the Timberlane Drive area. Their vehicle was towed back to the Hometown Inn.

3:35 a.m.-A Trachsel Place resident reported hearing breaking glass.

9:11 a.m.-Officers were called to Galion Community Hospital to investigate a report of an accidental gunshot wound to the hand.

2:19 p.m.-Makenzie N. Weber, 25, Cardington, Joshua Counts, 29, Marengo, and Jenee M. Webb, 36, were arrested in the 600 block of Harding Way East.

3:29 p.m.-A report of several juveniles smoking in the 100 block of Easton Way was investigated. Two of the juveniles admitted to smoking marijuana.

5:04 p.m.-A disturbance was investigated in the 800 block of Harding Way East. The people involved were issued verbal warnings for disorderly conduct and obstructing official business.

6:27 p.m.-A report of a stolen dog was investigated in the 600 block of South Market Street. The dog had been taken to the Crawford County Humane Society.

6:52 p.m.-A set of keys found in the 300 block of Harding Way East was turned over to officers.

12:08 a.m.-Samantha M. J. Jacobs was issued a citation for driving under suspension in the 600 block of Harding Way East.

2:14 a.m.-A report of a fight in the 400 block of Harding Way East was investigated. Dustin L. Yeager, 34, Crestline, was arrested for operating a vehicle under the influence, fleeing police and a probation violation. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center and another person was advised to report to her probation officer on Monday.

10:29 a.m.-A South Boston Street resident reported a lawnmower was placed in their backyard. It was returned to the owner.

11:45 a.m.-A non-injury accident was investigated in the 600 block of Harding Way West. One person was issued a citation for assured clear distance ahead.

12:50 p.m.-A hit-skip accident was investigated in the 100 block of East Street.

4:48 p.m.-James E. Schenk Jr. was issued a citation for fictitious tags and Falynn Phillips was cited for driving under suspension in the 100 block of North Liberty Street.

5:27 p.m.-A non-injury accident was investigated in the 1400 block of Sara Avenue.

6:32 p.m.-A dispute between neighbors was investigated in the 500 block of East Walnut Street.

7:12 p.m.-A welfare check was conducted in the 200 block of East Summit Street.

8:54 p.m.-A report of kids throwing rocks at an apartment in the 100 block of Easton Way.

6:23 a.m.-A non-injury accident was investigated in the 100 block of Harding Way West. James E. Cantu was issued a citation for failure to control.

8:20 a.m.-A report of stalking was made at the police department.

8:48 a.m.-A cell phone found in the South Columbus Street area was turned over to officers.

9:10 a.m.-A resident reported vandalism to their garage door in the 200 block of North Market Street. A nearby stop sign was also painted.

9:38 a.m.-A landlord-tenant dispute was mediated in the 500 block of Sherman Street.

10:46 a.m.-A resident in the 100 block of East Payne Avenue reported vandalism to a garage door.

11:28 a.m.-A report of an assault was taken in the 800 block of South Street.

2:10 p.m.-A warning was issued to a resident in the 600 block of South Boston Street for the theft of utilities.

2:13 p.m.-A tablet that was found in a yard in the 200 block of West Railroad Street was turned over to officers.

2:30 p.m.-A person reported the purchase of a Cessna airplane from a man that the plane does not belong to at Galion Municipal Airport.

6:59 p.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the 400 block of Libby Lane.

8:53 p.m.-A report of a reckless driver in the area of US 30 was investigated.

9:02 p.m.-A Portland Way South resident reported their banking information stolen and used by someone in another state.

10:27 p.m.-Officers delivered a message for Juvenile Court in the 300 block of South Boston Street.

11:23 p.m.-A report of two people having sexual relations on a bench in the 100 block of North Jefferson Street was investigated. One person was arrested.

11:48 p.m.-A welfare check was conducted on a juvenile in the 400 block of Portland Way North. The juvenile was fine.
