12:46 a.m.-A parking citation was issued for a vehicle blocking a fire hydrant in the 500 block of South Boston Street.

5:32 a.m.-A parking complaint regarding a vehicle parked in front of the police station was made and the vehicle was towed by Ronk’s Towing after the owner could not be reached.

9:11 a.m.-A report of a dog left outside in the cold in the 700 block of Grove Avenue was investigated. The dog had been taken inside.

9:49 a.m.-A report f a suspicious vehicle parked in the Save-A-Lot parking lot was investigated. The driver was watching a movie using the Wi-fi in the area.

10:27 a.m.-A resident reported a dog left outside in the cold in the 700 block of Richardson Avenue. The owner of the dog was warned that she would be cited with animal cruelty if the police were called about the issue again. She took the dog inside her house.

4:14 p.m.-A domestic issue was investigated in the 500 block of Crew Avenue.

6:11 p.m.-A report of a suspicious vehicle in the 400 block of Grand Street was investigated.

7:18 p.m.-A report of dogs running at large in the 300 block of Fairview Avenue was investigated.

7:55 p.m.-A report of a traffic light not functioning properly in the Harding Way East area was investigated and the city line department was contacted.

10:29 p.m.-A report of a suspicious vehicle parked at Dollar General was a vehicle that was broken down and the store manager advised it was fine to leave it there until it can be repaired.

11:15 p.m.-Officers assisted EMS personnel in the 600 block of Elm Street.
