GALION—Galion Police investigated two incidents Tuesday evening of residents reported someone trying to open doors at their residences.
At 11:04 p.m., a North Columbus Street reported hearing someone outside their house and that the person was trying to open a downstairs door. A few minutes later at 11:13 p.m., a Second Avenue resident reported someone trying to get in their back door.
Officers searched the area in both incidents and did not locate anyone in the area or signs of a disturbance. The residents were advised to call police again if anything else suspicious happens.

12:45 a.m.-Two juveniles were issued warnings for being out past curfew in the 700 block of Harding Way West and were released to their parents.
1:32 a.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the 600 block of South Market Street.
1:59 a.m.-A disturbance was investigated at the Rainbow Motel. A female reported she wanted a male to leave and he was refusing to do so. Officers gave the man a ride to the Crestline village limits.
2:48 a.m.-A person experiencing mental health issues was taken to Galion Community Hospital.
11:11 a.m.-A person in the 300 block of South Street reported a toolbox stolen from their truck.
11:35 a.m.-Officers assisted Crawford County Children Services personnel in the 400 block of North Columbus Street.
1:11 p.m.-The city street department workers found a backpack containing a pair of shoes at the basketball court at Heise Park and turned it over to officers.
3:18 p.m.-A Harding Way East resident reported their neighbors are stealing internet service.
6:58 p.m.-A welfare check was conducted in the 200 block of North Market Street.
7:10 p.m.-A report of juveniles setting off fireworks at Heise Park was investigated.
7:44 p.m.-A West Atwood Street resident reported their security cameras tampered with and their vehicles ransacked.
7:54 p.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the 400 block of Harding Way West.
7:59 p.m.-A report of a reckless driver was investigated in the Portland Way South area.
8:47 p.m.-A disturbance was investigated in the McClure Street area.
