GALION—The Galion Police Department is investigating a burglary at First Federal Bank of Ohio, 140 N. Columbus St.
According to Galion Police Chief Brian Saterfield, the breaking and entering of the bank occurred between 10 p.m. and midnight on Sunday when the suspect entered the building by forcing a window open.
The incident was reported to police by the bank manager at 6:07 a.m. on Monday when the broken window was discovered.
“The subject was able to remove several items from the bank and left on foot. Our department, with assistance from the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office, continues to investigate this incident,” said Saterfield.

2:40 p.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the 400 block of Libby Lane.
3:47 a.m.-An accident involving a vehicle in a ditch was investigated in the 8000 block of Millsboro Road. No injuries were reported and a tow truck was called to the scene.
6:23 p.m.-A standby was conducted in the 600 block of Portland Way North.
7:08 p.m.-A possible domestic dispute was investigated in the 500 block of John Street.
7:33 p.m.-A parking complaint was investigated in the 100 block of Harding Way East.
7:43 p.m.-A report of a suspicious man in the 1400 block of Ohio 598 was investigated.
