3:03 a.m.-Officers assisted the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office on a traffic stop in the 200 block of Portland Way North.

3:45 a.m.-A report of an unwanted man at a residence in the 600 block of Grand Street was investigated. The person was warned against trespassing on the property in the future.

9:35 a.m.-Personnel from the city street department brought in a child’s bicycle that was found in the 400 block of West Payne Avenue.

12:34 p.m.-An officer stopped to assist a woman who jumped out of her vehicle in the 700 block of South Boston Street holding a child. The child had been choking but was ok and medical treatment was not needed.

1:32 p.m.-A report of a man urinating by a dumpster in the 200 block of Portland Way North was investigated and the man denied doing it.

1:41 p.m.-A juvenile was warned against walking through residents’ properties on Heise Park Lane.

2:25 p.m.-A report of people racing golf carts in the West Church Street area was investigated.

4:58 p.m.-A report of a possible theft from Poland True Value was investigated.

7:09 p.m.-Brenda Neal was issued a citation for speeding in the 900 block of Fairview Avenue.

7:43 p.m.-A civil standby was conducted in the 600 block of Grand Street.

8 p.m.-A report of a group of juveniles cussing and doing vulgar things at Heise Park was investigated. Officers advised the juveniles of the upcoming new park rules.

9:51 p.m.-A report of a runaway juvenile in the 300 block of South Market Street was investigated.

10:27 p.m.-Officers assisted a Harding Way West resident in removing a bat from their house.
