GALION—Galion Police were called to the Valero station at 10:38 p.m. to investigate the incident in which the man became belligerent while resisting wearing a mask in the store. He reportedly yelled, cussed and flashed a gun at employees and yelled at customers outside the store before leaving the area. Officers took a report regarding the incident.

1:21 a.m.-A suspicious vehicle in the 700 block of Carter Drive was investigated.

10:11 a.m.-A report of a suspicious vehicle at the PECO II ballfield was someone sleeping after working the night shift.

3:30 p.m.-A report of a suspicious man at Moto Mart was investigated.

4:13 p.m.-A report of a vehicle driving around a bus with the red lights activated was investigated in the 200 block of North Washington Street.

4:26 p.m.-a report of a blue vehicle going around a stopped school bus in the 1000 block of South Market Street was investigated.

4:35 p.m.-Sarah Cole was issued a court date on a warrant in the Harding Way East area.

5:27 p.m.-A report of a suspicious vehicle playing loud music was investigated in the Richardson Avenue area.

5:55 p.m.-A report of a group of juveniles throwing rocks at a building in the Hyatt Court area was investigated.

7:36 p.m.-Corey J. Iannantuono was issued a citation for driving under suspension in the 1200 block of Harding Way East.

8:50 p.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the 100 block of West Walnut Street. Piper B. Mitchell was arrested for domestic violence.

10:51 p.m.-A man fled from police after an attempt to stop the vehicle he was driving after he committed a stop sign violation. The chase, with speeds up to 90 miles per hour, began on Fairview Avenue. The vehicle was recovered, along with a black shoe and open containers of alcohol, and towed from the scene by Zeger’s Towing. The man is still at large and officers are searching for him. Assistance during the pursuit was provided by the Ohio State Patrol with the use of a helicopter and the Ontario and Crestline Police Departments.
