9:08 am.-A non-injury accident was investigated in the 700 block of Portland Way North. Katherine L. Arbitter was issued a citation for failure to yield at a red light and one vehicle was towed from the scene by West Side Towing.

10:49 a.m.-Officers assisted a bail bonds company in apprehending a man in the 200 block of North Liberty Street.

12:22 p.m.-A report of loud music in the 400 block of Portland Way North was investigated.

12:27 p.m.-A Grove Avenue resident reported being harassed by someone they know.

12:30 p.m.-An employee at Moto Mart reported that a female attempted to use a counterfeit $20 bill at the business.

1:50 p.m.-A report of two men attempting to enter the old fire department building near Cobey Park was investigated.

2:37 p.m.-A report of a runaway juvenile was investigated in the 800 block of Charles Street. The juvenile was later located and returned home.

2:59 p.m.-A report of a domestic dispute in a vehicle near Circle K was investigated. The couple advised it was a verbal argument only. Timothy A. G. Maynard was issued a citation for driving under suspension.

3:18 p.m.-A report of a fight between two males was investigated in the 500 block of East Church Street. They were issued warnings for disorderly conduct.

4:02 p.m.-A report of juveniles smoking cigarettes at Heise Park was investigated. Richard D. Borders was issued a citation for contributing to the delinquency of juveniles and the illegal distribution of cigarettes.

4:34 p.m.-A welfare check was conducted in the 100 block of Sherman Street and the person was fine.

5:52 p.m.-A set of keys found on the street in the 100 block of East Atwood Street were turned over to officers.

6:48 p.m.-Noah I. Fraley Jr. was issued a citation for expired tags in the Portland Way North area.

7:15 p.m.-Brandon J. Fox, 27, Galion, was arrested on a probation violation in the 900 block of Charles Street. He was also issued a summons for possession of marijuana.

8:18 p.m.-A cell phone found near Peace Lutheran Church in the 100 block of West Walnut Street was turned over to officers.

9:43 p.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the 600 block of South Boston Street.

10:25 p.m.-A report of a suspicious man at the Valero station was investigated. Officers conducted a well-being check and the man was picked up by a friend.

12:45 a.m.-A Third Avenue resident reported a girl and two boys were looking in a window at their residence. Extra patrol was requested for the night.

1:09 a.m.-A report of two suspicious people in the 600 block of East Church Street was investigated.

1:39 a.m.-A Third Avenue resident reported a gun and medication stolen from their residence.

1:53 a.m.-A Fifth Avenue resident reported a male in a black hoodie on their porch. Extra patrol was requested.

2:35 a.m.-Gregory S. Owens, 55, Galion, was issued a citation for operating a vehicle under the influence and driving under suspension in the 100 block of North Market Street.

3:15 a.m.-A report of an assault was investigated in the 600 block of Fairview Avenue.

1:35 p.m.-Officers attempted to locate a man that was reportedly suicidal in the Harding Way East area.

1:39 p.m.-A report of an unruly juvenile was investigated in the 200 block of Fellow Street.

3:51 p.m.-Officers assisted EMS personnel in the 600 block of Harding Way East.

4:46 p.m.-People reported a man was harassing them at Amick’s Reservoir.

5:22 p.m.-A wallet found in the 300 block of Harding Way East was turned over to officers.

5:43 p.m.-Andrea D. Beeman was issued a citation for allowing her dogs to run at-large in the 500 block of East Church Street.

11:49 p.m.-A South Pierce Street resident reported someone on her porch and looking into windows at their residence. Officers were unable to locate anyone in the area.

12:20 a.m.-A Walker Street resident reported a Galion Schools basketball sign stolen from their yard.

12:49 a.m.-Officers investigated three people for disorderly conduct in the 200 block of Harding Way East.

2:24 a.m.-Two juveniles out past curfew fled from officers in the 100 block of North Liberty Street.

2:59 a.m.-An officer was flagged down by someone advising that two juveniles were in the Fairview Avenue area hiding in a creek.

3:47 p.m.-The Ohio State Highway Patrol reported that a reckless driver was coming into Galion from Marion. Officers made a traffic stop in the 700 block of Harding Way West. Drugs and drug paraphernalia were found and the driver was issued a citation for driving under suspension. Kaycee M. Gaspers, 31, Marion, was arrested for possession of Oxycodone, falsification and possession of drug abuse instruments.

6:57 p.m.-A welfare check was conducted in the 300 block of Fifth Avenue.

11:35 p.m.-An Easton Way resident reported an attempted breaking and entering.

11:43 p.m.-A report of possible shots fired in the 900 block of Charles Street was investigated.

1:04 a.m.-A report of a suspicious person in the 900 block of Water Way was investigated.

6:35 a.m.-Gavin Ratcliff was issued a citation for speeding on South Market Street.

7:04 a.m.-The Ohio State Patrol advised officers of a stolen vehicle from Shelby in the area. Officers located the vehicle and the driver took off running in the 800 block of Charles Street.

9:14 a.m.-A transient voucher was provided to a person at the police department.

10:29 a.m.-A report of a suspicious male taken photos of people in the Public Square area.

12:38 p.m.-A business in the 300 block of South Street reported the unauthorized use of company vehicles by a former employee.

3:59 p.m.-A South Pierce Street resident reported being attacked, along with their dog, by another dog. The owner of the dog was issued a verbal warning for allowing their dog to run at-large.

7:09 p.m.-A report of a suspicious male at Heise Park last week that was open carrying a gun with magazines on his belt and scanners in his vehicle.

7:13 p.m.-A report of a fight at the tennis court area at South Park was investigated. The people involved advised they were play fighting but were issued verbal warnings.

7:51 p.m.-A welfare check was conducted in the 300 block of Garverick Court and everything was fine.

3:27 a.m.-A report of juveniles running in the area of North Market Street.

4:55 a.m.-A resident reported several juveniles at the shelter area of East Park were yelling and threatening to kick the resident’s dog.

5:45 a.m.-A resident in the 300 block of North Columbus Street reported that someone attempted to break in their house.

6:22 a.m.-A person reported being assaulted and wanted a ride to Mansfield. He was dropped off on Trimble Road.

11:05 a.m.-A report of a breaking and entering in the 600 block of North Columbus Street. A water heater tank was stolen.

12:26 p.m.-A report of an assault was investigated in the 400 block of Third Avenue.

5:30 p.m.-A report of two men open carrying guns were near the Galion Post Office. It was unknown is they were on federal property and officers were unable to locate them.

5:39 p.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the 400 block of Libby Lane.

7:15 p.m.-Dani R. Reed was issued a citation for public indecency after a report of a female urinating in a public parking lot.

8:03 p.m.-A report of bottle rockets being set off in the 600 block of Cherry Street was investigated.

8:51 p.m.-A citation for driving without a license was issued to Thomas McNew in the 800 block of South Street.

9:30 p.m.-A motorist reported a truck attempted to run their vehicle off the road in the 1400 block of Ohio 598.

11:56 p.m.-A report of a group of kids fighting in the 100 block of South Market Street was investigated. It was a verbal dispute over money and the kids involved separated.
