12:29 a.m.-A report of a fight was investigated in the 200 block of South Street.

12:31 a.m.-Officers assisted EMS personnel in the 300 block of North Columbus Street.

1:06 a.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the 100 block of South Boston Street.

4:03 a.m.-A Fifth Avenue resident reported five people attempting to break into their house. The incident was unfounded.

8:07 a.m.-The city street superintendent reported that the cabin at East Park was vandalized.

9:19 a.m.-A South Columbus Street resident reported a girl’s purple bicycle with a black and white seat stolen from their backyard.

1:11 p.m.-A crash between a pickup truck and a semi was investigated in the Sixth Avenue area. EMS assisted at the scene with one person that received minor injuries.

3:03 p.m.-Employees at Galion Building and Loan reported that a truck with ladders on top came through the ATM drive-thru and hit a pole. There was damage to the pole but no injuries were reported.

3:22 p.m.-An East Parson Street resident reported Suboxone, cigarettes and money stolen from their residence by someone they know.

6:10 p.m.-A South Boston Street resident reported their dogs being antagonized by their neighbors.

6:37 p.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the 300 block of North Columbus Street.

8:34 p.m.-A report of a fight between neighbors over their dogs was investigated in the 300 block of Second Avenue.

10:47 p.m.-A report of an unruly juvenile was investigated in the 300 block of East Payne Avenue.

11:02 p.m.-A domestic dispute in a parking lot in the 100 block of South Columbus Street was investigated.

2:51 a.m.-Tyler K. Howell, 24, Galion was issued a citation for operating a vehicle under the influence in the East Atwood Street area.

6:24 a.m.-A needle that was found in the 700 block of Harding Way West was turned over to officers for proper disposal.

12:25 p.m.-A South Boston Street resident reported their vehicle entered and their registration stolen.

12:53 p.m.-A civil standby was conducted in the 400 block of Beechwood Drive.

2:06 p.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the 300 block of North Columbus Street and one person was issued a warning for criminal trespassing.

6:19 p.m.-A report of loud music was investigated in the 100 block of Eighth Avenue.

6:50 p.m.-A report of an intoxicated person yelling and cussing at the Rainbow Motel was investigated. A family member picked the person up.

8:28 p.m.-A report of two males shoplifting in the 800 block of Harding Way East was investigated.

9:17 p.m.-A Hess Street resident reported someone knocked on the windows of their residence. Officers were unable to locate anyone in the area.

1:33 a.m.-A report of loud music was investigated in the 400 block of Portland Way North.

4:20 p.m.-A juvenile found a US Bank card at Heise Park and turned it over to officers.

4:35 p.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the Cedargate Apartments area. Dion P. Smith, 27, Galion, was arrested for domestic violence and possession of marijuana drug paraphernalia. Erik L. Whitaker, 27, Galion, was arrested for obstruction of official business and falsification.

5:55 p.m.-A report of an unruly juvenile was investigated in the 200 block of East Payne Avenue.

8:34 p.m.-A motorist was warned for not having children secured in car seats in the 200 block of Harding Way West.

8:56 p.m.-A report of possible child abuse was taken and is under investigation.

10:34 p.m.-A report of a suspicious man in the 200 block of Portland Way North was investigated.

2:36 a.m.-A report of an unresponsive male at the Valero Station was a man that had simply fallen asleep on third shift.

12:03 p.m.-A report of a reckless driver was investigated in the Public Square area.

1:12 p.m.-A pair of glasses found in the East Atwood Street area was turned over to officers.

1:37 p.m.-A cell phone found in a yard in the 600 block of North Market Street was turned over to officers.

2:31 p.m.-A report of fake money with Chinese writing was investigated at Galion Building and Loan.

5:32 p.m.-A civil standby was conducted in the 300 block of North Columbus Street.

6:02 p.m.-Keith Wells was issued a citation for expired tags on South Street.

7:27 p.m.-A dispute between neighbors was investigated in the 200 block of South Columbus Street.

8:11 p.m.-A report of unruly juveniles in the South Jefferson Street area was investigated.

10:29 p.m.-A report of a suspicious man in the 500 block of Gill Avenue was investigated.
