GALION―Galion Police officers assisted in the apprehension of two people who fled from a motorist in a stolen vehicle.
The motorist called police to report the crime and followed the vehicle to the area of Biddle and Brandt Roads Saturday morning at 8:55 a.m. The caller lost sight of the vehicle as it headed north on Ohio 61 at a high rate of speed.
The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office radioed that the vehicle had crashed and the pair of suspects had fled on foot in the area of Ohio 288.
The suspects, Kevin Conrad and Christina Hunter, were arrested for theft and taken into custody.

2:24 p.m.-A South Murray Street resident reported receiving threatening messages via Facebook.
3:25 p.m.-A Harding Way East resident reported identity theft.
7:25 p.m.-Branden D. Tolle, 31, Bloomville, was arrested on a warrant out of the Tiffin Police Department during a traffic stop int eh 200 block of Harding Way West.
7:47 p.m.-A report of a fight in the ICU unit waiting room at Galion Community Hospital was investigated. Several people were involved and were all issued warnings for disorderly conduct. The hospital staff put restrictions on the people for visitation with a patient.
10:40 p.m.-A report of an unruly drunk person at a residence threatening to kill people was investigated in the 200 block of South Jefferson Street. Jordan M. Williams, 29, Galion, was arrested for persistent disorderly conduct and taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held until sober.

4:29 a.m.-Jason A. Speer, 34, Galion, was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant in the 1300 block of Harding Way East.
6:12 a.m.-Officers investigated a report of a possible overdose in the vehicle in the East Street area. William J. Keil II, Galion, was arrested and taken into custody.
8:50 a.m.-A red Next bicycle was found in the 300 block of West Church Street and turned over to officers.
10:53 a.m.-A report of a theft from a business was investigated in the 800 block of Dawsett Avenue.
12:47 p.m.-A standby was conducted in the 200 block of Harding Way East.
5:54 p.m.-A report of a hit-skip accident was investigated in the 800 block of Harding Way East.
8:57 p.m.-A Bel Air Drive resident reported their pickup truck stolen.
9:37 p.m.-Officers assisted EMS personnel in the 700 block of North Market Street.

12:27 p.m.-A non-injury accident was investigated in the Portland Way South area. A citation for assured clear distance ahead was issued.
4:46 p.m.-A report of kids playing on the roof of the Poland True Value store was investigated. The juveniles were both released to their parents and they will handle the discipline.
9:31 p.m.-A Harding Way East resident reported receiving harassing text messages.
