GALION—Galion Police assisted the Galion Fire Department at the scene of a house fire at 550 Grand Street at 1:38 p.m. on Wednesday.
The residents were outside the house when officers arrived. The Bucyrus Fire Department was contacted to assist with the city of Galion while firefighters battled the blaze. EMS personnel also assisted at the scene but no injuries to residents or firefighters were reported. A family member said two dogs were lost in the fire.

12:28 a.m.-An issue between neighbors was investigated in the 200 block of South Columbus Street.
12:50 a.m.-Officers assisted the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office in the 100 block of Harding Way East.
2:09 a.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the 500 block of Harding Way East. A woman was issued a warning for disorderly conduct.
9:11 a.m.-A non-injury accident was investigated in the Dollar General parking lot. Sharon Johnson was issued a citation for improper backing.
12:59 p.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the East Park area.
2:09 p.m.-A non-injury accident was investigated in the Heise Park area. Fair Price Auto Service towed one vehicle from the scene.
2:20 p.m.-A standby was conducted in the 600 block of Grand Street.
3:11 p.m.-A report of a bicycle stolen from the Heise Park Pool area was investigated.
3:41 p.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the 600 block of Harding Way West.
4:14 p.m.-A report of people living in a tent in the Cobey Park area was investigated.
5:19 p.m.-Evan Holloway was arrested on a warrant in the 1200 block of McClure Street.
5:40 p.m.-A report of a dog left inside a vehicle parked at Galion Community Hospital was investigated. The dog appeared fine and the owner advised they were inside the hospital for about 30 to 40 minutes.
7:09 p.m.-A Libby Lane resident reported a bicycle stolen.
7:19 p.m.-A report of six juveniles ganging up and bullying another child at Heise Park was investigated. The juveniles’ parents were contacted and the juveniles were advised to leave the park for the night.
8:57 p.m.-A standby was conducted for a child custody issue at the police department.
9:04 p.m.-A non-injury accident was investigated in the South Jefferson Street area and one person was issued a citation for failure to control and driving under suspension after hitting a parked vehicle.
9:51 p.m.-Officers met with people living in a tent in the Cobey Park area and had them clean then leave the area.
10:43 p.m.-A report of fireworks in the 600 block of Grove Avenue was investigated.
11:24 p.m.-A Harding Way West resident requested officers’ assistance in getting a bat out of their house.
11:24 p.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the 400 block of Libby Lane. Both parties involved were issued warnings for disorderly conduct.
