GALION―A Galion man was arrested for operating a vehicle under the influence Friday evening after employees of Taco Bell notified Galion Police of an accident that occurred in the drive-thru area at 12:11 a.m.
Michael D. C. Lewers, 37, Galion, was arrested for operating a vehicle under the influence after the vehicle he was driving hit the back of the vehicle in front of him in the drive-thru. When officers arrived, he was passed out at the wheel of the vehicle but was awakened by officers when they took him into custody.

6:35 a.m.-A West Railroad Street resident said they found a woman standing inside their house. The woman was arrested and taken into custody.
8:23 a.m.-A report of a suspicious man in the 300 block of West Railroad Street was investigated. The man was taking photos of trains passing by and he was advised to stay at a safe distance away but could continue to take photos.
11:55 a.m.-A report of stolen a Fentynal patch from a person in the 900 block of Rosewood Drive was investigated.
4:09 p.m.-An Easton Way resident reported receiving harassing phone calls from someone they know.
5:15 p.m.-A Harding Way West resident reported a woman came to their home asking questions about people scamming others. After officers checked on the situation, there was no one in their area working for the state on scams and the resident was advised not to give the woman any information.
5:33 p.m.-A standby was conducted in the 200 block of Clymer Avenue.
5:53 p.m.-A report of a reckless driver in the Portland Way South area was investigated. The driver was issued a warning for reckless driving.
5:58 p.m.-A report of three Pitbulls running loose in the 300 block of First Avenue was investigated. One of the dogs reportedly bit someone in the area it was reported to the Crawford County Dog Warden.
8:15 p.m.-A report of the theft of two vape pens from the Ashtray was investigated.

10:41 a.m.-A landlord reported finding a door kicked open at a residence they own in the 200 block of Clymer Avenue.
10:44 a.m.-A welfare check was conducted on an elderly person in the 1300 block of Harding Way East.
3:02 p.m.-A report that a U-Haul truck hit a pole in the 200 block of Pershing Avenue was investigated.

1:23 a.m.-A report of a suspicious person in the 700 block of Harding Way West was investigated. The elderly man was collectin cans in the area and there were no issues.
11:32 a.m.-Officers assisted EMS personnel in the 800 block of Harding Way East.
8:22 p.m.-A report of a runaway juvenile was investigated in the 100 block of First Avenue. The boy was later located and returned home.
