GALION—A man was arrested on Wednesday afternoon in connection with a burglary of an apartment in the 400 block of Libby Lane.
At 4:11 p.m., Galion Police officers were called to the apartment after a neighbor witnessed a man attempting to break into the apartment. John Bowen Jr. was arrested for burglary and taken to the Crawford County Justice Center.

1:22 am.-Officers assisted the Mount Vernon Police Department in the 800 block of Charles Street.
2:07 a.m.-A traffic stop was conducted on East Walnut Street. Sarah Alvarado was arrested and taken to the Crawford County Justice Center. The driver, Jason T. Wilcox, was issued citations for driving under suspension, turn signal and display of license plates. Fairprice Auto Service towed the vehicle from the scene.
1:23 p.m.-A domestic dispute was reported in the 600 block of Grand Street.
1:39 p.m.-A welfare check was conducted in the 200 block of South Pierce Street.
2:47 p.m.-A domestic dispute was reported in the 600 block of Crescent Way.
4:58 p.m.-A report of an unruly juvenile in possession of vape was investigated in the 600 block of Brookside Avenue.
5:09 p.m.-A disturbance at Heise Park was investigated.
6:08 p.m.-A report of juveniles banging on the playground equipment at Heise Park with a Trump sign was investigated. They left the area with a parent.
7:50 p.m.-A cell phone locator indicated that a cell phone stolen earlier from Heise Park was at a residence in the 200 block of South Boston Street.
11:07 p.m.-A welfare check was conducted on a juvenile in the 800 block of Charles Street.
