Nearly two dozen bundles of heroin won’t hit the streets in Galion or Crawford County and one man is in jail as a result of an ongoing investigation at 205 Southern Ave. in Galion.
Arrested and being held at the county jail pending formal charges is 37-year-old Daniel Donohue who lives at the residence.
The Galion Police Department, Crawford County Sheriff’s Office and METRICH Drug Task Force served and executed the search warrant on Wednesday.
“Outstanding work by our county’s detectives! This was an investigation that took several months and again achieved the outcome of removing drugs from the streets of Galion,” stated Galion Police Chief Brian Saterfield.
Investigating officers seized 23 bindles of heroin, a syringe loaded with what is suspected to be heroin and other drug paraphernalia.
