GALION—A candidate for the Galion mayoral race has announced he is dropping out of the race. Jon Kleinknecht announced on Facebook Monday that he went to the Crawford County Board of Elections on Monday and asked them to withdraw his petition.
According to Kleinknecht’s Facebook post, he is withdrawing from the race due to recent unexpected health-related issues in his family that have become an immediate priority.
