Matthew Maag

BUCYRUS—Matthew Maag, 29, of Galion, was sentenced in Crawford County Common Pleas Court on Monday for three different crimes.

Maag pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated possession of drugs and one count of vandalism.

Crawford County Common Pleas Court Judge Sean Leuthold approved an agreed plea negotiation. On the third-degree aggravated possession of drugs charge, he received nine months in prison. On the fifth-degree aggravated possession of drugs charge, he received eight months in prison, and on the fifth-degree felony charge of vandalism, he received seven months in prison. He will serve a total of 24 months in prison. Maag will receive 110 days of jail time credit.

Garret Kisor

In other court news, Garrett Kisor, 29, of Bucyrus, pleaded guilty to one count of tampering with evidence, a felony of the third degree. In an agreed plea negotiation, Judge Leuthold sentenced Kisor to 12 months in prison. He will forfeit all drug-related property. He will receive 77 days of jail time credit.

Richard Castle Jr., 27, of Crestline, pleaded guilty to violating the terms and conditions of his community control. Castle was placed on community control after he pleaded guilty to possession of drugs, a felony of the fifth degree punishable with up to 12 months in prison.

According to probation officer Jeremy Clay, Castle tested positive for and admitted using fentanyl in late September.

Judge Leuthold sentenced Castle to seven months in prison.
