NORTH ROBINSON― A Galion man is relieved and sad after a one-vehicle crash on Ohio 602 near Ohio 19 Monday evening.

Dallas P. Arnold, 24, Galion, was traveling south on Ohio 602 when he lost control of his white 2007 Acura. His vehicle veered off the east side of the roadway, grazing a stone fixture at a residence then striking a pole before coming to a stop.

“Something broke in the car. I had brakes but no steering,” said Arnold who said he was not injured and refused treatment by Life Support Team EMS. “I loved that car and would like to know what happened.”

Whetstone Township EMS and firefighters assisted the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office at the scene.

The Sheriff’s Office investigated the crash and Arnold was issued a citation for failure to control.
