GALION―A Galion man was issued two citations during a traffic stop on Friday.

At 9:28 a.m., a vehicle driven by Russell A. Gardner was stopped by police on Fairview Avenue. He was issued citations for driving under suspension and furnishing false information to an officer.

Gardner’s vehicle was towed from the scene by Fair Price.

10:24 a.m.-A non-injury accident was investigated in the 300 block of Eighth Avenue.

11:13 a.m.-A non-injury accident was investigated in the 900 block of Water Way near the Bell Store.

11:54 a.m.-A report of a theft at the Bell Store was investigated.

4:09 p.m.-A non-injury accident was investigated in the 6600 block of East Brandt Road. Kaitlyn McKinniss was issued a citation for assured clear distance ahead.

4:30 p.m.-Bill E. Ricker Jr., 42, Galion, was arrested on Crawford County warrants in the 200 block of Second Avenue.

7:25 p.m.-A report of a stolen milk jug was investigated in the 300 block of Sixth Avenue.

8:56 p.m.-A non-injury accident was investigated in the North Riblet Street area.

9:40 p.m.-A domestic issue was investigated in the 400 block of North Columbus Street.

10:22 p.m.-A report of a suspicious vehicle near a dumpster was someone having a medical issue in the 900 block of Wedgewood Drive.

2:12 a.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the 1300 block of Harding Way East. All parties involved were issued warnings for disorderly conduct.

12:13 p.m.-A non-injury accident was investigated on Smith Street.

2:08 p.m.-A report of children left alone in a vehicle at Dollar General was taken. The vehicle had left the area before officers arrived.

5:04 a.m.-Officers assisted a person experiencing mental issues in the 300 block of South Market Street.

11:57 a.m.-A breaking and entering of an apartment in the 300 block of Seventh Avenue was investigated.

5:45 p.m.-A report of a civil protection order violation was made at the police department and referred to the Crawford County Prosecutor’s Office.

6:55 p.m.-Cheyenne A. Schroeder, 22, Galion, was arrested in the 400 block of Portland Way North.
