GALIONꟷA Galion man is facing multiple charges after a hit-skip accident was reported at 8:16 p.m. on Friday on South Street at Dawsett Avenue.

Charles R. Parsons, 45, Galion, was arrested for operating a vehicle under the influence, fleeing the scene of an accident, failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer and failure to stop at a stop sign. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center.

1:29 a.m.-A report of an unattended grill fire in the 300 block of South Washington Street was investigated. The fire was put out and there were no other issues.

2:03 a.m.-A small fire was reported at South Park and it was extinguished by firefighters.

2:18 a.m.-A 911 open line with two people arguing was investigated in the 500 block of King Avenue. Destiny L. Stinehelfer, 21, Galion, was arrested for disorderly conduct while intoxicated and taken to the Crawford County Justice Center.

3:25 a.m.-A report of a non-responsive female in a vehicle at Moto Mart was investigated. The woman was not intoxicated or unresponsive, just tired. Officers escorted her home.

3:53 a.m.-A report of a suspicious vehicle was investigated in the 100 block of North Market Street. The driver was playing Pokemon GO at the gazebo.

9:15 a.m.-A report of a person in a white pickup truck with three small children not in car seats was investigated in the 800 block of Harding Way West. The vehicle was gone when officers arrived. The Bucyrus Police Department was notified as the driver is from Bucyrus.

9:17 a.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the 200 block of South Jefferson Street.

10:58 a.m.-Tracey E. Brown was issued a citation for driving under suspension in the 300 block of Harding Way East.

11:03 a.m.-A non-injury accident was investigated in the 800 block of Portland Way North.

7:57 p.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the 400 block of South Street.

12:54 a.m.-A report of loud music was investigated in the 200 block of North Washington Street.

2:16 a.m.-A report of domestic violence was investigated in the 100 block of Myrtle Alley and the parties were separated.

3:42 a.m.-A report of a suspicious man looking in the windows of houses in the 400 block of Cherry Street was investigated. Officers were unable to locate a person matching the description in the area.

6 a.m.-A report of a disturbance was investigated in the 400 block of Cherry Street.

5:21 p.m.-A non-injury accident was investigated in the Eighth Avenue area. Marco Cabrera was issued a citation for assured clear distance ahead.

8:33 p.m.-A report of a man passed out in the driver’s seat of a vehicle was investigated. Ryan D. Humphrey was arrested for physical control in the 800 block of Harding Way East.

11:33 p.m.-A report of a female who jumped out of a vehicle because her boyfriend threatened to kill her was investigated. She was taken to Galion Community Hospital for treatment and officers searched for the man.

3:44 a.m.-A report of a naked man running in the middle of the street in the 300 block of East Parson Street was investigated. Joseph B. Horvath, 23, Mansfield, was arrested for disorderly conduct while intoxicated and resisting arrest and taken to the Crawford County Justice Center.

12:22 p.m.-A West Church Street resident reported the license plate from their motorcycle stolen.

6:51 p.m.-A South Market Street resident reported two helmets stolen from their motorcycle.

5:33 p.m.-A report of a pedestrian hit by a vehicle in the 200 block of Harding Way East was investigated.

6:48 p.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the 900 block of Harding Way East.

11:42 p.m.-A non-injury accident was investigated in the 200 block of Portland Way South.
