GALION―A Galion man was arrested on multiple charges when officers were called to a residence in the 600 block of Richardson Avenue to investigate a domestic violence incident in progress.

At 7:01 p.m. on Saturday, Richard W. Lister Jr., 29, Galion, was arrested for aggravated menacing, using weapons while intoxicated, disorderly conduct and domestic violence.

He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court.

7:17 a.m.-Officers assisted EMS personnel in the 100 block of Arlington Avenue.

9:15 a.m.-A standby for a child custody exchange was conducted in the 300 block of Gill Avenue.

11:38 a.m.-A standby was conducted in the 400 block of Fifth Avenue.

1:59 p.m.-A report of shots heard coming from a residence in the 600 block of Wiggs Court. It may have been slamming doors the person heard and the resident at the home refused to answer the doors for officers but told them she was fine.

2:55 p.m.-A report of a suspicious vehicle was investigated in the 1000 block of Winchester Road.

4:50 p.m.-A standby was conducted in the 100 block of Switzer Road and the person was able to retrieve their belongings.

5:53 p.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the 200 block of Fellow Street. It was a verbal argument and the couple was separated and advised to stay away from each other.

6:40 p.m.-A report of juveniles on the roof of the pavilion at East Park was investigated. Officers spoke with the kids and they left the area.

7:49 p.m.-A resident turned over drugs and needles found in their home that belong to a relative to officers.

8:25 p.m.-A report of an adult allowing children to play on playground equipment in the 300 block of Eighth Avenue against the orders by the governor to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

10:34 p.m.-A report of a suspicious vehicle was investigated in the 500 block of Gill Avenue. The people were playing Pokemon Go and were advised of the park hours.

10:36 p.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the 300 block of North Columbus Street and Johnathan R. Pasco, 29, Crestline, was arrested for disorderly conduct.

1:36 a.m.-A report of a loud party in the 400 block of Guinther Court was investigated. All of the people involved were issued warnings for disorderly conduct and three people were issued warnings for health department violations in having a party during the stay at home and social distancing orders.

2:10 a.m.-A report of suspicious people in the area of Gledhill Road Machinery was investigated on Portland Way South. The people are employees on strike.

2:19 a.m.-Tracie L. Ingles, 43, Crestline, was advised to contact the court on a misdemeanor warrant as the jail was unable to accept due to orders by the prosecutor to comply with social distancing.

10:07 a.m.-A possible violation of a protection order was investigated in the 700 block of Carter Drive.

12:07 p.m.-Officers assisted EMS personnel in the 1400 block of Sara Avenue.

4:11 p.m.-A report of child abuse was received and is under investigation.

8:47 p.m.-A welfare check was conducted on a resident in the 900 block of Charles Street. Everything was fine.

9:26 p.m.-A report of a truck doing donuts at Amick’s Reservoir was investigated. Parents of juveniles that were involved were contacted and the vehicle was towed from the scene by Ronk’s Towing Service.

10:54 a.m.-A report of a dispute was investigated in the 300 block of Eighth Avenue.

1:11 p.m.-A report of three people attempting to break into a vehicle in the 400 block of East Church Street was investigated.

1:34 p.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the 300 block of Mansfield Street.

5:38 p.m.-An Erie Street resident reported their neighbor sent someone to remove trimming from the home by climbing onto their roof. Officers advised the neighbor to stay off the resident’s property.

5:44 p.m.-A standby was conducted for a custody exchange in the 400 block of Libby Lane.

9:37 p.m.-A report of loud music was investigated in the 600 block of Crew Avenue. The people involved were told to keep the music down.

2L44 a.m.-A parking violation was investigated in the 300 block of South Market Street.

5:05 a.m.-One person was detained after a traffic stop in the 900 block of Charles Street.

12:12 p.m.-A report of an assault was investigated in the 100 block of First Avenue.

4:26 p.m.-Cigarettes were confiscated from a juvenile in the 800 block of Harding Way East and he was released to a guardian.

5 p.m.-A standby was conducted in the 500 block of Sherman Street.

5:12 p.m.-Jason Speer was arrested on Richland and Morrow County warrants in the Harding Way East area. He was turned over to Morrow County authorities.

7:18 p.m.-A report of an unruly juvenile was investigated in the 100 block of First Avenue.

10:55 p.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the 100 block of East Payne Avenue. It was a verbal argument.
