GALION, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—A Galion man was arrested Wednesday afternoon following an investigation into the possession of child pornography, according to the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office.
Michael Paul Taylor, 60, was taken into custody at approximately 4:53 p.m. after deputies executed a search warrant at his residence at 1370 Fairview Ave. Officials identified Taylor as the primary target of the investigation.
During the search, investigators seized several electronic items from the home. A preliminary forensic review of the devices located child pornography, authorities said.
Taylor was transported to the Crawford County Justice Center. He is being held pending formal charges of pandering obscenity involving a minor.
The Sheriff’s Office stated that a full investigative report will be forwarded to the Crawford County Prosecutor’s Office for the consideration of additional charges.
