GALIONꟷA Galion man was arrested when Galion Police investigated a report of a possible overdose of a man slumped over the steering wheel of a vehicle in the Dollar General parking lot, 880 Harding Way East, on Tuesday evening.
Officers responded to the area at 8:44 p.m. and found Jason W. Burchett inside the vehicle and suspected heroin on his person. He was arrested for operating a vehicle under the influence.

12:43 a.m.-A report of a disturbance was investigated in the 1000 block of Harding Way East.
1:54 a.m.-Officers attempted to locate a vehicle after a report that a woman under duress was with someone she knows. At 2:17 a.m., Crawford County Sheriff’s Deputies located the vehicle in the South Market Street area and Galion Police provided assistance.
2:21 a.m.-A neighborhood dispute was reported in the 100 block of East Payne Avenue.
5:37 a.m.-A welfare check was conducted at Cedargate Apartments and everything was fine.
11:09 a.m.-A Portland Way South resident reported someone opened an Amazon account in their name. Amazon is closing the account and advised the resident to make a police report.
12:47 p.m.-A neighborhood dispute was investigated in the 400 block of South Union Street.
3:45 p.m.-A report of a stolen coat and keys from Powers Reservoir is under investigation.
4:57 p.m.-A report of a reckless motorcycle driver was investigated in the 700 block of Boyd Boulevard. The driver said he was not speeding but his bike is very loud due to its age.
6:20 p.m.-A person reported purchasing a cell phone from someone that is possibly stolen at the police station.
10:29 p.m.-A report of an unruly juvenile was investigated in the 600 block of Willowcrest lane.
11:12 p.m.-A report of a disturbance was investigated in the 1100 block of North Market Street.
