GALIONꟷA Galion man was arrested early Friday morning after he attempted to flee from officers.
Morrow County Sheriff’s deputies assisted Galion Police in pursuit of the vehicle which was stopped near Fairprice Auto Service. Andrew W. Dunn, 32, Galion, was arrested for failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer, operating a vehicle under the influence and possession of marijuana drug paraphernalia at 1:16 a.m.
Dunn was taken to Galion Community Hospital for treatment of injuries he had sustained during an earlier incident.

2:03 p.m.-A sex offense was reported and is under investigation.
2:06 p.m.-A report of an unruly juvenile was investigated in the Newberry Drive area.
5:28 p.m.-A report of a suspicious vehicle in the South Street area was investigated.
6:19 p.m.-A report of kids walking on the railroad tracks was investigated in the South Boston Street area.
6:36 p.m.-A report of stalking was investigated in the 300 block of Dawsett Avenue.
7:13 p.m.-A report of an overdose was investigated in the 400 block of Guinther Court.
8:42 p.m.-A Libby Lane resident reported receiving harassing phone calls from a person they know.
9:40 p.m.-A report of possible child abuse was investigated in the 200 block of Libby Lane.
9:50 p.m.- Officers assisted with an unruly relative of a patient at Galion Community Hospital and gave the person a ride to their residence.
11:37 p.m.-A welfare request was conducted in the 600 block of Cherry Street and Timothy Reed was arrested on a warrant.

12:32 a.m.-A report of juveniles yelling obscenities in the 700 block of Harding Way East was investigated. They were issued a warning for yelling.
1:12 p.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the 800 block of Charles Street. One person was issued a warning for disorderly conduct.
6:53 a.m.-Officers assisted the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office in attempting to locate a runaway juvenile in the 100 block of South Boston Street.
9:07 a.m.-A report of two large dogs running loose and nipping at a person in the 300 block of South Murray Street was investigated. During the incident, an officer was bitten by one of the dogs. The Crawford County Dog Warden came to the scene and took the dogs into custody.
3:39 p.m.-A report of seven juveniles fighting at South Park was investigated. Everything was okay but officers reminded the juveniles about social distancing.
4:03 p.m.-Officers assisted a homeless person in the 300 block of Harding Way East.
4:40 p.m.-A report of people racing mopeds in the North Union Street area was investigated.
5:56 p.m.-A report of a stolen vehicle was investigated in the 1500 block of Trachsel Place. A male and female were issue warnings for harassment and officers did a standby while they returned the vehicle to the owner.
8:14 p.m.-A report of people drinking, including juveniles, was investigated in the 400 block of Libby Lane. A male was released to a family member. Tyler M. Donathan was issued a citation for operating a vehicle under the influence.
8:55 p.m.-A Harding Way East resident reported their tags stolen and finding counterfeit money in their house.
11:11 p.m.-A report of a male asking people for rides in the South Union Street area was investigated and the person was released a family member.
11:54 p.m.-A report of a fight was investigated in the 400 block of Hensley Avenue. One person was detained.

12:37 a.m.-A report of loud music was investigated in the 400 block of Grand Street. Dareian Watkins was arrested for disorderly conduct.
1:21 a.m.-Another report of noise in the 400 block of Grand Street was investigated. The people involved were told to stay in for the night.
3:16 p.m.-A standby was conducted in the South Boston Street area.
5:36 p.m.-A report of an unruly male in the South Boston Street area was investigated. Robert M. Jones was arrested for menacing and possession of marijuana drug paraphernalia. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center.
8:38 p.m.-A report of loud music was investigated in the 400 block of South Pierce Street.
