Press release and staff report
It’s never too soon to start checking off your back-to-school list. Get your vaccines checked off early by taking advantage of the Galion City Health Department’s extra back-to-school clinics.
The health department is taking appointments for back-to-school immunizations for grades K-12. To avoid the back-to-school rush, the health department encourages all parents to come in before schools reopen in August. If you are going into 7th grade or 12th grade chances are you are due.
The health department will be offering Back-To-School Clinics Mondays and Thursdays beginning June 12th through August 17th. Appointments can be scheduled on the second and fourth Monday of the month or 9 – 11 a.m. and 1 – 3 p.m. every Thursday. Late clinics are also available from 3 – 6 p.m. the third Monday of every month.
Check out our Facebook Page or Website for more details. Please call to schedule an appointment and have your insurance information ready. Call us at 419-468-1075.
Protecting yourself and others should be at the top of your to-do list this summer.
