GALION—A sixty-seven-year tradition is set to return to Galion. The Galion Community Chorus is preparing to present Handel’s Messiah. This is the 67th annual performance. Mr. Herb Krishbaum began the annual tradition, and early performances were held in the high school auditorium.
The Chorus, back this year after being unable to perform during Covid, needs volunteers to sing in the program.
The Chorus meets every Monday night at 7 pm at the First United Church Of Christ, 248 Harding Way West in Galion for rehearsal.
The performance of Handel’s Messiah will be on December 5th.
If you are interested in singing in the performance, please call Matt Crall at 419-569-2683.
The Galion Community Chorus offers this free performance of Handel’s “Messiah” to the public. It is made possible by generous donations from the community.
Donations may be sent to Galion Community Chorus, P.O. Box 464, Galion OH, 44833, with checks made payable to the Galion Community Foundation.
