The Galion City Schools is excited to announce the launch of new social media pages for the district. The schools will be utilizing a Facebook page and Twitter page, with the goal being to expand its social media presence into other areas over time.
“We have heard, loud and clear, that we need to do a better job of communicating with our parents and community,” Superintendent Mark Stefanik said. “We believe that launching these social media pages will help us share the great news and achievements of our students and staff, as well as help us improve our overall communications.”
Individuals who like the Galion City Schools Facebook page and follow the Twitter page will have the ability to interact and communicate with the district. News articles, photos, videos and more will be shared through both pages.
“I want to encourage students, parents and the entire Galion community to visit and follow or like our social media pages,” Stefanik said. “This is an exciting time in our district, and we could not be more thrilled to launch these new communications tools to benefit our community!”
