Galion City Council will hold its final regular meeting for the month of May tonight. Council members are slated to discuss nine pieces of legislation this evening.
Only one of those votes will be a third reading: the ordinance regarding the number of employees by classification in each department. If passed, the ordinance will then go into effect.
Four pieces of legislation are receiving their first reading. They are: one transferring funds between accounts, another regarding an increase in appropriations in some funds; increasing appropriations for seasonal help; and accepting the recommendation of the Tax Incentive Review Council.
