GALION, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The Galion City School District Board of Education has rescheduled its regular monthly meeting to Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. in Room 127 of Galion High School. Visitors are asked to enter through Door K. The meeting was originally set for June 17.
Prior to the main meeting, the Audit Committee will meet at 6:15 p.m. During the regular session, the board will enter into executive session to discuss public employee personnel matters, including employment, discipline, or compensation.
District officials also announced a public hearing for Friday, July 10, 2026, at 7:30 a.m. at the Galion City Schools Administrative Office. The hearing will address the retire-rehire status of primary school teacher Cindy Conner and middle school principal Julie Murphy-Theodore, immediately preceding the regular July board meeting.
